Unraveling Adriana

After being kidnapped and experimented on, tortured and abused, Adriana is rescued. Technically she escaped by herself, but those are just small details.

Virtus Academy, an elitist school hidden in the shadows, silently observing while society collapses in itself. Every year the Academy takes up 11 students that fit their criteria.

Students have to go through intense psychological training, enhancing memory and thought, until they are but just a shell of their former self. A successful shell might I add.

Adriana has changed. She can barely recognise herself.

After two years away, Adriana returns to London. Nothing has changed at all but her. She learns to deal with it, the constant stares and false rumours. She learns to care for the infuriating boy that surrounds her.

Most important she learns to love herself, unconditionally and always.
