Damon moved out of Mystic after Stefan and Elena married.  They now live in the Boarding house.  Damon moved to Vines Virginia as did Tyler.  Damon tries leading a normal life but constantly fails. One day he meets a woman he would really love to sink his fangs in. 
Jaysi Santana as a complicated life, complete with a son, an ex who won't keep his abusive hands to himself.  Damon denies love and abandons Jaysi.
Mason Lockwood takes care of her falling in love instantly. 
Damon finds out Mason is spending time with Jaysi so he threatens to break any deals the originals and hybrids have made with both their kind. (Vampires and  Werewolves.) Mason agrees to not see Jaysi but never really stops.  
When Damon appears back into Jaysi' life what will she do?  Will she continue to be close with Mason or forget about him and go back with Damon?  
 Will Mason and Damon let her decide?
