The dark lurks, wandering behind your view. After tragedy strikes, Whitney - a seventeen year old girl - is placed in an orphanage in Ontario, Canada. He's the one that catches her attention, but she refuses to let him tug at her emotions. Meanwhile, the dark is thinking. How to come between her, the boy she doesn't want to love, and the path to freedom they all seek? What to keep them all there, in that house?
