Mercy in the Clouds (Sirius Black)

Mercy Williams is a girl who confuses her family, she always seems to be one step ahead of everyone of, and knows what they think before they open their mouths, but never seems to bother to care what they think. She is clever beyond her years but all she does is stare out the window, and draw pictures of flight and sky.
Her family thinks she is suicidal even though she loves life. Why, because she has jumped off the roof of her two story house every chance she can get, and what confuses them even more? She never has a scratch on her.

Sirius Black can never understand the odd female Gryffindor in his year no matter who approached her she always brushed them off and instead she chose to stare outside the window and look at the sky with a distant expression on her face, as if she was a million miles away. A habit that kept most students at bay for her first year at Hogwarts. And it kept Sirius at bay until he watched her jump out of a third story window and land unharmed. Now Sirius Black wants to understand the concept of mercy.
