It all started with the usual fight between Sonic and Shadow. But this time, things do not go as well as they should have been...

First: The 7 powerful gems of Mobius, also known as the Chaos Emeralds, mysteriously go missing. And soon enough, a terrible disaster happens to them and the Master Emerald.

Second: Finding the emeralds and fixing them back to the way it was is no easy feat. Turns out, Eggman is not the only villain around here. 

All because a certain someone opened the portal to another universe...

Third: Things rapidly go out of control as the fate of the two universes lie in the hands of a time travelling hero. Will disguising himself as a human agent really help Silver the hedgehog save the world?

Inspector Gadget and his elite team soon join forces with Sonic and his gang as they unravel the mysteries to the crisis.

As the heroes gather their allies, 
Eggman makes a deal with Dr. Claw. What is his plan? Who has the emeralds?

A tough fight awaits our new heroes and villains.

Now come on dow... down- own... to... pl-planet... MoBi...Us. A broken TV shuts off as it lays on the ground on the street. A polluted city was being attacked from the robots that were supposed to be servants but somehow they malfunctioned. We go to the top of a building as we see a shadowy figure sitting down at the edge of the tower with one leg dangling down from the roof and the other bent on top of the edge as the figure rested its arm on top of its knee gazing down at the polluted city. Everything is... gone. There's nothing left for me to do. All I have are my two sons, my only daughter, and my friends. I just don't know what to do anymore. My wife is gone, robots are taking over the planet, and what's worse... is that I'm supposed to be a hero. I'm Sonic. Sonic The Hedgehog and my wife Amy Rose has died to protect our children. Now it's my job to protect planet Mobius with the help of my younger brother, Miles "Tails" Prower, a red Echidna named Knuckles, two hedgehogs, Silver and Shadow.
