Rowan was at school one day when a person came rushing in. They were all bloody. All the children were in the lower part of the building. Only Middle school. The teachers died. The babies, Pre-K, and the rest died. The students quickly took action in locking the rest in the building. Rowan soon would take charge.

This sickness, however, is far from ordinary; it transforms its hosts into ravenous zombies. As the outbreak escalates, panic ensues and chaos reigns within school walls that now echo with screams rather than laughter. Amidst this turmoil, seven students-each embodying unique traits ranging from the rebellious troublemaker to the studious overachiever-forge an unlikely alliance for survival. They navigate through classrooms turned barricades and gymnasiums transformed into breeding grounds for horror while desperately seeking a way out. Trust issues arise as paranoia seeps in; alliances are tested when one of them starts showing early signs of infection. They must confront not only external dangers but also their own fears and secrets if they hope to escape Weston High before they become mere flesh-eating monsters themselves.
Outbreak: The Silence Before
The story begins in a seemingly typical day at a school campus, filled with the usual hustle and bustle of students attending their classes, talking with friends, and preparing for the end of the school day. The characters, a diverse group of friends and classmates, go about their normal routines without any suspicion of the impending doom. The friendships between Denisse, Euanne, Eunice, Eunise, Samantha, Jasemaine, Lei, Lowie, Atasha, Eriel, Roa, Vaneza, Maia, Ryjel, Princess, Rhianna, Power, Kaizer, Stephen, Liam, Mary, and Keziah give a sense of community and normalcy, where everyone is simply focused on their studies, weekend plans, and sharing moments with each other. However, the peace of this day is shattered when a freak accident in the school leads to a rapid outbreak. A student from another grade interacts with a rat infected with dangerous chemicals and rabies, causing a chain reaction. That student becomes the first zombie, and the infection spreads quickly through the school campus and the surrounding barangay. The sounds of chaos and screams echo in the hallways, setting off alarms among the students who, at first, think it's some sort of prank. But as the tension grows, they soon realize that what they're witnessing is no joke. With the school's phone lines down and no way to call for help, the students barricade themselves inside their classrooms. The realization of the outbreak sets in slowly as they face their fears and prepare for whatever horrors await them outside the walls. Some are terrified, others are in denial, but one thing is certain: their world has changed. Their survival instincts will be tested as the outbreak begins to tear their world apart.
