Althea always thought that it would be nice have a protective older brother. However, when her mother marries a man with a college-age son, he does not at all fit this profile. When he bothers to visit, she needs protection from him instead of by him. Frustrated and confused, she wonders how she managed to have such bad luck. In the future, however, she finds out more about the young man who was supposed to be her brother, and she has to decide whether or not to forgive him for his actions.
