There was the Great War 400 years ago, when General Avadonia of Lucifen created peace by usurping the failed republic and changing it to the traditional monarchy, thus creating New Beelzenia, an empire with three kingdoms; Lucifenia, Elphegort, and Marlon, each with their own monarchy. But 400 years in the future, the people are still not happy. Especially with the self-conceited Crown Prince Kaito to be the next emperor if his father Emperor Hikiam dies. So what does a monarchy do every single time they're not happy? Revolt, that's what. And nothing's going to be good when there's a revolt.
