Lena, still grieving the loss of her fiancé Matt three years prior, isolates herself during the Christmas season by burying herself in work at her boutique. Her best friend, Liz, urges her to attend her annual Christmas party, promising a special someone will be there.
At the party, Lena meets Taehyung (V), a handsome stranger who she had two chance encounters with earlier that week. Liz, aware of both V's presence and Lena's past, orchestrates a moment under the mistletoe for them.
V confesses his strong feelings for Lena, and despite her initial hesitation due to her past and their seemingly different worlds, they share a kiss and admit their love for each other.
