May mga bagay na hindi natin magawang ipaliwanag. May mga pangyayari na nagaganap na hindi natin lubusang maintindihan, pilit man nating alamin, ngunit kahit anong gawin natin, nananatili itong nakakubli sa katotohanan. 

Panaginip... isang panaginip.

Ngunit papaano kung ang inaakala mong panaginip lamang, ay totoo?

Ako si Ana, may katangian na hindi pangkaraniwan. Nakakakita ako ng mga bagay na hindi nakikita ng mga karaniwang tao sa pamamagitan ng aking mga panaginip. Ang ka-isa isang nilalang na minahal ko ay nagmula sa aking panaginip. Isang manlalakbay na hindi mula sa mundong ito. Ito ang aming kwento.



At nakita ko siya, sa hindi kalayuan, isang lalaki, nakatayo sa aking harapan. Na parang kasing puti ng nyebe ang kaniyang balat. Matangkad, katamtaman ang katawan. Ang kulay niya ay hindi pangkaraniwan.  Ang buhok niya ay kulay itim na nagdala sa kutis niyang mapusyaw kung kaya't lalo itong kapansin pansin kahit sa malayuan. 

"Lumingon ka, lumingon ka..." bulong ko sa aking isipan. Na para bang naririnig niya ang laman ng aking isip at siya ay biglang humarap sa akin. Ngunit malabo, na parang may nakaharang na ulap sa aming harapan.

Inaaninag ko, at unti-unti kong nakita ang kaniyang mukha, sa kaniyang pagharap, nakita ko ang mukha na parang anghel, Payapa.
