Emma Swan is a princess, her parents are Mary-Margaret and David Nolan of Misthaven. When she was five years old she was kidnapped and taken to america where she grew up in the system with little memory of her parents. As she got older her parents seemed more like a dream than the real thing and she started to forget them. During her senior year of high school she was chosen as one of the students to go meet the royal family and explore the castle.
Killian Jones is the prince of Neverland, he and Emma were arranged to be married the moment they hit the age that it was allowed. They hadn't minded since they both loved each other very much as friends and figured marrying a friend would be better than marrying a stranger.
