The following story, as strange as it might be, is a faithful and true recount of what happened in this city of smoke and dust in the late 1909. I myself as the writer bear witness of the following events, in fact this story happened to nobody else but me and as I will later explain, to the people who happen to cross path with me and the Immortal Bard. Many tried to record their encounter with the Minstrel in poetry and plays but I, a no writer as I am, simply intended to document this one event in my life and presented it as it is. --- The Unhappy Man and the Immortal Bard is my experiment on writing a surrealistic novel. I have been wanting to write something surreal and absurd for a long time so I decided to actually try writing them. There's no fixed date update as I have to write in between breaks and before sleep but I am trying my best to keep on updating. Notes: There is no explicit mature content in the story, but there are some sexual innuendo, discussion, and theme present in several chapters. The Immortal Bard is depicted as a person who does not conform to genders and the main character himself, though married, is not exactly straight. Although the story has a discussion on sexuality and genders, it remains a minor issue and is not the focus of the story. I hope you enjoy reading this~!
