Sequel to 'The Wolf's Lion'.

Ariana O'Connor was always destined for greatness, even if she didn't know it. Only a couple of people know what the extent of her powers would be, not that she was one of them. The witch was prophesied to become the most powerful witch of her time, possibly the world. However, no one ever said the road there was going to be easy.

After watching a friend be murdered in cold blood last year, Ariana has been having an incredibly awful summer. Both Ron and Hermione have kept herself and Harry in the dark about what they are really up to and memories of the Tri-Wizard Tournament have been haunting her like a particularly awful poltergeist. 

A month into the holidays she is rescued by a mysterious organisation called the Order of the Phoenix, which Remus is a valued member of. Over the coming year, Ariana will face the brutality of werewolf prejudice, discrimination, the oppression of the Ministry, Lord Voldemort, and the feeling of truly falling in eternal, unchanging love. She will also learn that the blood of Gods runs through her veins.

Through the struggle, one fact remains: Remus Lupin will never leave her, nor will she ever leave him. These two have a stronger bond of love than anyone they know, but can Ariana make the ultimate sacrifice the other half of her soul?
