After the betrayal, Hope is broken. The betrayal had taken a life. Being fueled by anger and wanting revenge, Hope is prepared to come back even stronger. She is ready to take back the throne and defeat the Chenborg, but what if that's not enough? The Chenborg are growing stronger and Barder's rebellion is growing thin. Can Hope use what the rebels have taught her and find out what she's fighting for? Or will she be stuck fighting against what other people don't?
Book 2 of the Stories of Hope trilogy. I haven't decided on My Mother's Name or My Mother's Wish yet, though.
