Eddie Kaspbrak is 15 years old now, and he hasn't gotten any taller and he hasn't changed. He still uses his inhaler, he still uses a fanny pack, and he's still best friends with the Losers. Meanwhile the losers have all gotten taller and have lost all their childhood looks. Eddie is still getting bullied by Henry Bowers who calls him names and punches him. Eddie can deal with this until his best friend and crush Richie Tozier teams up with Henry to bully him. Eddie falls into a deep depression which none of the other losers realize except Beverly... and Richie. What will happen? Will Reddie come out strong or will Eddie fade into the darkness. Eddie Kaspbrak is the banker's son who can't keep his eyes off of Richie, looking through the window of the bank. When they meet, Eddie refuses to give Richie his name until he "earns it." So Richie vows to earn the window boy's name, no matter what. "Eddie could feel Richie's eyes burning holes in his back, but he didn't turn around, just tensed a bit. He wasn't sure why. He guessed he knew that if he turned and looked, he'd be met with chocolatey eyes and dark, playful curls and milky, clear skin and an award-winning smile with full, soft lips and a nose that was always a little pink and probably a teasing, 'like what you see, Kaspbrak?' and huge, dorky glasses that somehow brought out every feature spectacularly, pitting them against each other in wonderful juxtaposition. Eddie Kaspbrak is the finest of Derry High. Straight A student and the perfect example to everyone of the ideal person to be. Eddie has his whole life planned ahead of him. Specific moves that are intricately structured with the perfect opportunities to lead him to the top. Eddie is the fucking poster boy of perfection. But unfortunately, nobody is perfect. And when a certain someone threatens the spot on top that Eddie has reserved for himself, the ugly side of him unleashes, and things get... messy. Let's just say that Eddie Kaspbrak would do anything for his reputation. And that includes befriending a complete moron, despite it's challenges. And it's challenges... are a fucking lot. But he's willing to get his hands dirty for the deed. As they all say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Or, alternatively: Eddie Kaspbrak is a know it all, and believes he has battled heroically through all the high school classes he needs to ace in order to succeed in life and to know what he's doing all throughout. And he does know what he's doing, for the most part, up until Richie Tozier comes along, and fucks everything up.
