"It's not easy living a double life!" "Dude, you're not Hannah Montana." Frank had always figured that it was pretty cliche that he was an Italian resident of New Jersey. He also figured it was cliche to be those things on top of being a member of the Left Hand Men, AKA one of the most dangerous mafias in the country. Gerard is an all-business type of person, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Well, as long as no one finds out that his "business affairs" all have to do with being a key member of the Quiet, or the craziest mob in the northeastern region of the United States. It's hard to live such a dangerous life, and when two members of rival groups fall in love, the things that happen to them and those around them are inevitable. Disclaimers: -This is a somewhat slow-moving story. -There is some violent/graphic content. I have the mature setting activated because of this.

Frank Iero is struggling with his battle against drugs and depression when he meets artist Gerard Way in a coffee shop. The pair immediately hit it off, and begin their new lives together despite their many issues. - "Homophobic comments are not tolerated here," she pointed her nose in the air as she frowned down dramatically at Gerard. She crossed her arms aggressively causing her ponytail to sway behind her. "Listen kid, I'm the biggest fag in this place, so I'll make all the homophobic comments I like, 'kay?" Way sneered back, raising his eyebrows confrontationally and continuing to chew on the stirrer. She stared at him in disgust as Frank giggled, "It's true, he owns pink tools," he pointed out before she rolled her eyes and stomped away. "The color of the tools doesn't impede their ability to be tools- wait why are you digging around in the closet?" Gerard asked as he waved the stirrer around. "Why do you keep pink tools in the closet?" "Tools. I keep tools in the closet because where the fuck else am I going to keep them? I rarely need to hammer or screw anything," Gerard said as he sipped his soulless coffee earning a suggestive wink from the younger. - Dark content warning. Comments are appreciated.
