There was a loud crash as something hit the wall. Followed by the sound of glass fragments hitting the floor. Their clinking was almost musical. But the sound was almost certainly caused by destruction.
A crunch followed. The sound of wood splintering. Probably the table, maybe one of the dining chairs.
I sighed.
This is why you don't put supernaturals in a house together. Confined spaces are never a good idea. Let alone Britain's next reality TV show. The tension couldn't be greater if we were in a pressure cooker.
I wished I had walked when I had the chance. But no. Instead, I chose to stay.
I shoved my headphones over my ears as if nothing was happening and flicked my laptop over to YouTube. An hour killed watching 'how it should have ended' videos and the latest chaos should be over. Give them another 45 minutes and the kitchen should resemble its original state again. As well as it could anyway. Then I could make dinner. Mexican food sounded good.
You may be wondering how I got here. I know I am. Well, that's a really long story. And like almost all stories it starts with a guy meeting a girl. Pretty typical really.
The guy in question is a friend of mine. Well, more of a friend of a friend. And the girl well I didn't know her until a few months ago. Kind of wish I hadn't met her sometimes. Ok, that still doesn't really explain why I'm involved.
Maybe I should start at the beginning. That's as good a place as any to start. We were on a boat, I think. Somewhere off the coast of Portugal. It was meant to be a holiday. But it didn't stay that way for long.

She was simply trying to rehearse lines for an audition. And he's getting pissed off she won't give him a name so he can kill and go home. The problem is, pissed off turns into something else and before he knows it, he wants to take away some of that innocence and loosen her up, or better yet, tie her up make her his.
