"It's better to be basic than over-complicated."

Everybody says that Emma is basic. She likes drinking pumpkin spice lattes, checking her Snapchat, and shopping at places like Ardene's and Claire's. Emma lives her life normally like the people around her-or so she thought. People in St. Adam's Academy don't understand that you can be different, so Emma is out of luck. Another thing they don't understand? Emma doesn't mean to be this way.

A story of drama, bullying, love, and a realization that it's okay to be different.

"You are my treasure, my reason for living, and more important than my left kidney." . . . [Classic Yandere Boy x Female Reader] Y/N is a normal high school girl. Completely normal. Her social life, studying habits, and the number of grains in her cereal bowl each morning couldn't be more average. She has no unique character traits and is more vanilla than cheap vanilla ice cream with vanilla extract on top. She makes a plain rice cake seem flavorful, but she was somehow able to get a yandere stalker to fall madly in love with her, (the jury is still out on how that happened, but they think that errors in judgment were involved and possibly psychedelic drugs.) Y/N and her friends try to discover the identity of Y/N's 'secret admirer' who keeps leaving her anonymous love notes and murdering other students every Tuesday and bi-annual national holiday. There is that one guy who literally follows Y/N everywhere at school like a lost duckling with flushed cheeks, sparkly eyes, and drool dripping off his chin, but Y/N never notices him. Why you ask? Oh, it's simple. It's because she's Y/N in a Yandere x Reader novel, and she is more oblivious than a box of rocks encased in concrete. Will Y/N discover the identity of her yandere stalker before everyone else at her high school 'mysteriously disappears'? (Of course not, she's Y/N.) Will the Yandere ever get Y/N to love him? (Not if he finds it easier to murder her friends and family than to just walk up to her and say hi.) And how is this school still open after all the fatal accidents that have occurred on campus? (The question that we all want to be answered.) ⚠WARNING⚠ even though this book is a satire, there will be a few mature themes in it including (but not limited to): -swearing -violence -mental illness -suicide -murder -manipulation -obsession -gore -and tsunderes Reader discretion is advised.

A bullied girl meets the popular new student. ***** "Still saying that you're perfectly okay?" Max whispers. I'm surprised to hear that his voice is shaking. "I'm going to find who did this to you." ***** One time, I was the most popular girl in school. All the students in Royal Heights, the school of the richest, knew me as the pretty Luna Klein, daughter of a famous superstar and a well-known billionaire. But the next thing I know, I'm an outcast. Just because of a complicated thing called love, everything turns 180 degrees. Now, I'm the girl that everyone hates. I've lost all my friends. I've lost my best friend. And I've lost the guy that I adore. All I can do now is to ignore the bullies and to survive each day quietly, hoping that I don't attract too much attention like before. Everyone in my school starts to call me loony Luna. Or lunatic, their favorite nickname. Then he suddenly arrives. Max Cooper, the new student who just got here from Australia. Insanely good-looking and smart, topped with his impressive family background, Max easily becomes everybody's favorite, especially the girls'. Disastrously, of all the other things he can pick, Max sets his eyes on the most forbidden and despised thing in Royal Heights. Me. Even though the whole school hates that idea. But pushing Max away is like trying to tame a wild lion that has just been released from its cage. Max is unstoppable. My mother once said that if a guy is really into you, he will pursue you no matter what. I think I know now how it feels. I just don't know how to handle my heart. Because every time his piercing eyes land on me, I feel like my heart is going to burst out of my chest. © 2021 Anya Jayvyn. All Rights Reserved.

I am Sam, a 17-year-old in my junior year, weighing 200 pounds. I am fat; calling me fat is an understatement. I am obese. If you call getting a straight A+ in algebra and trigonometry a nerd, well! I am a nerd too. I would be lying if I said that I was never hurt when people called me a 'fatty nerd'. I was hurt. Additionally, being best friends with Mia attracts a lot of bullies. Mia is a blonde. Well, that describes her. She is a blonde through and through. Let me describe her in detail. She has shiny golden blonde hair, startling blue eyes, a sharp nose, and full lips. Did I mention she won 'Miss Teen California'? She is a beauty with no comparison. She is my best friend and won't let anyone bully me. So people calling me fat doesn't bother me anymore. Actually, it makes me happy, seeing the indignation and anger from Mia. She makes me feel special. I would be a fool if I didn't fall in love with this girl. Oh! Yes, I forgot to mention. I love Mia. And she doesn't know that.
