I see the sun setting in the sky. I look over at Loki and we lock eyes. His greenish-blue eyes remind me of the ocean before us, which crashes on the sand and leaves behind shells. He slowly takes my hand and we watch the sunset together.
 
"This is beautiful." I tell him.

He nods. "It may be, but it's nothing compared to you, my love." 

I feel myself blush. "I love you."

"I love you too."

We both walk closer to  each other until there is barely any space left. He pushes a lock of hair out of my face and our lips meet. I close my eyes as he puts his hands behind my neck and lightly pulls me forward, filling any space left between us. 

I wrap my arms around him and stroke his hair. He slowly pulls back. We look at each other for a long time- until the sun has fully set, and all that surrounds us is darkness, and the burning love we have for each other.

HI! I am one of those people who has to write a fantasy story in her head to fall asleep. I was out of ideas and needed something quick one night so I ran through a list of fantasy men and women and settled on Loki. This was started as a vague picture show in my head with no real outline or direction. Then the Loki show came out and it gave me a bit of a direction and a plot. I let it fester so now I have to actually write it out. I am my target audience here y'all. I have to write this out because I have to know what happens. I just thought, If I am going to write it out, I might as well share it in case there is one other person out there that might enjoy it.
