Alison Smith has struggled with drugs and being in the wrong crowd, but quickly cleans up her act once her mother dies because of Alison's actions. It's been 2 years since her mothers' passing and her father got a job offer in Holmes Chapel, England. Thinking that Alison and Lindsey, Alison's little sister, could start fresh and put their mothers' passing behind them, he accepts the job. The girls were hesitant at first but soon came to accept and understand their fathers' reasoning, resulting in Alison finding herself on a 12 hour flight from Miami, Florida to England. Soon after their move, Alison sees this boy that she feels a strong attraction to and feels like they know each other, but she just can't put her finger it.
