In a post apocalyptic world, Earth has become sparse of it's once dominant inhabitant. Humans. After the Cleansing, all that remained were strange travelers from the stars and mutagenic creatures resulting from the aftermath of the wars. Though the history has been blurred and somewhat lost, only one being who has walked the beaten path remembers it all - from the beginning. The only problem was her own past. Who was she? Where was she from? Why has she been chosen to live a never ending lifetime to watch the happiness and suffering of this world? Was there nowhere to call home, or no one to call her own? Her immortality had become her curse.

But maybe after a lifetime of useless prayers being unanswered would finally pay off, shedding some light on her past. How could it be that one person...one man...could change all that? With his past just as shrouded in mystery as her own, they both are ignorant to the significance of each other.

A prophecy long foretold, two pasts to be unraveled, and a future nearing catastrophe, the hour glass is running out of sand if they are save what is left of what they call home.

"You will seek death but you will not find it. You will long to lose consciousness but ever present you shall stay. Finally alone you will shrivel up and die without your own kind in all your magnificent splendor, and only after everyone you love is dead. By then, it will no longer matter, for when you finally have your light you will depart from it faster than fire from a raging wind. But perhaps you would have comfort yet little one. Death is a sweet thing in a world like this." Cursed by a Wishing Dragon when she was only a dragonet, Stygian sets off in search of a cure, leaving behind everyone she knows and loves. On her journey for help she meets more enemies than friends, with a little red fox as her only companion. At last she finds Turbulence; God of Confusion; the only one who can save her, or so he or she claims. *** Fyran, the Librarian's Apprentice is on the hunt for Leviathan; a legendary beast long foretold by prophecy, a prophecy she had disregarded as an old fable. Yet, ever since her father stumbled into their broken down house one dark night covered in blood and deliriously talking about a dragon with iron teeth, Fyran is no longer so sure. After her father dies and renders them all penniless, Fyran goes in search of this creature to take revenge-and the huge bounty on its head issued by the King of Sufta. Perhaps she will be successful and they'll no longer have to grovel as the poorest of the poor, and at the very least she'll acquire justice for the murder of her father, the only father she's ever had. But there is an old and forgotten prophecy as old as time fast approaching on the horizon. Nobody can stop it, fate is a force that can't be reckoned with, and everything that ever has and will ever happen to every citizen has already been foretold in their scrolls. The fate of Sufta is uncertain, and powerful forces are at play, but who has enough discernment to understand a long forgotten prophecy that's been dismissed by generations?

In a world where magic is whispered about in hushed tones and ancient prophecies loom large, Rylla's life changes forever when war breaks out in her small village of Elderglen. Caught in the crossfire, she is saved by a mysterious stranger, Kaelith, a man who walks in shadows and seems to know far more about the world than he lets on. As Rylla grapples with the loss of her home, she finds herself drawn into a web of secrets, prophecies, and a long-buried war between two worlds-the human realm and the fae. Rylla soon discovers that her connection to magic runs deeper than she ever imagined, and the dreams that have haunted her for years may hold the key to her destiny. Torn between the familiar and the unknown, she must decide who to trust as ancient enemies awaken, and a new darkness threatens to engulf both worlds. With Kaelith as her guide, Rylla embarks on a dangerous journey to unlock the secrets of her past and confront the truth about her identity. But Kaelith himself harbors dark secrets, and his connection to the shadowy war that tore their worlds apart might not be as innocent as it seems. Their bond deepens into something neither expected, but with tensions rising and enemies closing in, they must learn to navigate their fragile alliance-before it's too late. In a tale of love, war, and the blurred lines between light and shadow, Rylla must uncover the truth behind the prophecies that have shaped her fate, and confront the darkness that threatens to destroy everything she holds dear.

Since she was a little girl, Velvet has been reading stories about great wizards and witches of Rumerra's past, wishing every night to wake up one day and be blessed with the affinity for magic herself. Unfortunately, the odds are stacked against her. Both her parents had no magic and thus the chances of her developing it are slim at best. But the gods of fate smile upon her one day when she receives her mark of light, thus becoming a light witch. Acquiring magic is only the first step, however. After this comes the grueling and life-long task of mastering it. We accompany the young witch as she sets out on a journey of self-discovery, full of magic and wonder - or so she thought. Velvet quickly starts realizing that the world of Rumerra is not like the worlds she got to know in her stories at all. Compared to her hometown of Simula, Rumerra at large is vast and unforgiving. From the frigid tundra of the Frozen North to the craggy hills of Eldrasit, and the vast forests of the elven lands, Velvet encounters mercenaries, dragons, and a vast array of other creatures, all of which seem eager to demonstrate that the world is far more cruel and unforgiving than she thought. Good and evil are not so easily told apart, not everyone is to be trusted, friends can die and a happy ending is all but guaranteed. Will Velvet be able to find her place in such a world? Can she become the hero she admired in her storybooks and pass on her knowledge of magic to others as she always wanted? Or will the cruel reality shatter her illusion and bring the girl to her knees?
