Red.
Scarlett.

She couldn't remember the love, the emotion called happiness. Heck she couldn't even recall their faces. Those two people who supposedly loved her eternally. Her parents. The term was almost as foreign as the word 'sister'.

Scarlett. The name of the woman who she had trained herself to become. A fearless woman. A feisty young woman. A woman. Not a girl. No, that girl died when one by one everyone chose to leave her behind. Her sister left. Her parents left. But now things are different. I choose to leave before they can even think of leaving me, I get to go away first.

Because I learnt the hard way that the only way to protect yourself from getting hurt is by abandoning everyone before they can destroy you.
