Imaginations are vile, rebellious human beings that have "evil" thoughts of rebelling against the Community. Madeline is forced to leave her loving home and live in the Institute where they hold all the Imaginations and try to change their ways.
But when Madeline is paired up with the dangerous, untameable Char, the inevitable happens.
