Meanwhile, an entire state away, Jess McFarlane is thrust into an almost lethal encounter with one of the creatures. Injured and fighting an infection from its deadly bite, she realises that, though she managed to escape death, she hadn't been completely freed from its clutches. Unwilling to sit around waiting for the infection to take hold, she sets off on one last adventure before she meets her doom. Unfortunately, fate has other plans for her. Hey guys!
