The government every year tasks its elite soldiers to participate in a nation-wide Cull. Hundreds of children are taken from homes and put into one of four Facilities. While most of them will be offered comfortable lives in the forms of low-ranking militia commandos and government jobs, a few will be groomed to be the successors for the highest office the government has to offer: The Law. To ensure that they would be able to keep ruling the world, The Law started implanting chips into all its citizens. In the year 2050, post-apocalyptic world, a lone girl must choose between becoming the next-in-line to head a corrupt government or siding with those who wish to see the world a better place. Order and lies, or truth and freedom? Whatever she chooses, one thing is clear: both sides bleed. Shirley should decide if the future she'd been promised since childhood is worth the lies it's built upon. It did not start that way, but once I got going, a lot of thing fell into place, namely that despite starting with the intention to do fanfiction, I did not commit to actually "living" in the milieus of the Marvel or even DC Universe. They became set pieces, prop-culture references and points of familiarity for the protagonist. I am turning _Murdersphere Mosaic_ into a first draft and I plan to re-develop set life on IC-CG1. I'm stripping out the Marvel and DC references, but it will definitely be recognizable as a super-science, comic book influenced environment. The idea is quite exciting. Because this turned into a sequel, I want all of you to have the whole story. So, I am going to serialize _Blue Collar Immortal_ on Wattpad, one chapter a week, starting Friday, September 19, 2014.
