Ara was given the duty of protecting the Bearer of the One Ring, along with the rest of the Fellowship of the Ring.  As a Bender of great power and strength, she was an obvious choice to become Frodo's protector.  She was a seemingly fearless warrior, which gave her an edge.  Ara expected the journey to be simple; she would protect Frodo, or die doing so.  She was used to similar situations.  But she didn't foresee that she would be facing the doubt of some of her commrades, past demons, and tragedy.  Ara would give her life for any of the Fellowship.  But will she draw the line at giving her heart to one of its members?
★I suggest you read the Lionheart books before you read this, as things will make more sense if you do.  I will explain some details of who the Benders are, but this series is branching off from the the Lionheart Trilogy.  Don't worry, to those who read my previous works, I will try to avoid spoiling anything for the third book.
