This is a prequel to the Inheritance Cycle. This is how the first Dragon Riders came to be and how they change to help Alagaesia from those who wish to harm it. Once the truce between dragons and elves is made the dragons gave the elves three eggs, once they hatched the new riders must train to become the heroes and protectors Eragon (the original one not Eragon Brom's son) expects them to be, but then the new queen Dellanir forbids dragon riders to enter the elves' forests, making it a little more difficult. Afterwards Eragon appoints the Rider's new leader and leaves with another rider to explore other lands beyond the Edda River.

Eighteen hundred years ago the sky was lit on fire by a large object cutting through the sky towards the very center of life as the land that was to become Erdas would know it. A fiery explosion of death and destruction erupted across the lands of Pyrrhia and Pantala upon contact with the Evertree. All life would have been destroyed if not for the Dragon Riders, an ancient order that ruled before the Greencloaks. Traveling to the distant land of Alagaesia, they struggle to fit in to their new home, especially with the fourteen Dragon Tribes they brought with them causing constant conflicts with the native Dragons and other species of Alagaesia. In this short story follow the adventures of Baobab and Marula, the discovers of the Evertree; Raegel and Oak, the explorers of the Outer Reaches, and the first recognizers of the SilkWings and HiveWings; and Viserra and Lycaena, the original enemies of the Wyrm. This story will cover the history of the Wyrm's beginnings, how Erdas was formed, and how the Great Beasts came to be.

Addiane found her life to be comfortable enough. She may not have known her family, but she was fed and taken care of by those she lived with. She rarely feared for her life, and she was being taught valuable life lessons by those around her. Of course, training to be a Dragon Rider under the Shadeslayer himself, the first proper Rider in a long time, was a major bonus. Addiane wouldn't have thought she'd ever want to leave their little haven. Her curiosity simply got the better of her when Eragon's cousin made a plea for assistance, describing terrifying marauders and bowmen whose aim had been blessed by gods. And of course there was the man who rode the red dragon. Addiane had to know more about him, and about what was going on in the mountains that Eragon Shadeslayer had once called home. Dragon Riders A New Era by Jagas1991

The idea behind it was what if Christopher Paolini's world continued on into 2021.

Oaths bind her future, but also restore her inner balance. This is an Eragon/Dragon Age crossover with OCs Kudos to my sister for Fallyn's face 2.0 :)
