Energetic Hope {1}

Six months after the death of her beloved bay, Tennessee, Nicole is struggling to keep herself with it. Her mum's horse farm is taking up most of her time, and she's starting to struggle with school. This is resulting in her grades going down. Nicole almost wants to give up on the equestrian world and focus on an easier subject like badminton or tennis, but she's determined to keep it up for an extra month.

Her mind is changed completely though when she meets snobby and rich girl Arianna Dreamer and her stallion, Shy. Just like his name, Shy is as shy as a horse could be. But he has a reason. Shy was mistreated as a colt, and now those memories are haunting him again. How can Arianna take him to the Minnesota Equestrian Games if he's un-rideable

Nicole has never been involved in the business of the farm, only doing the grooming and the mucking out. So maybe the arrival of Shy might turn around with a twist of events, both in a bad way and a good way. Can Nicole figure out the problems behind Arianna's rudeness. Or maybe there was no point in ever trying.
