“You’re a werewolf, are you?” I interjected, on the edge of hysteria as I spoke. “Well that’s a little inconvenient then, because I heard it’s a full moon tonight. Are you going to magically transform into a murderous wolf?”
He gritted his teeth. “I’m planning to escape before then, actually. I hate being trapped as a wolf even more than I do as a human.”
Lila Rose is a sixteen year old girl living with a mentally checked out mother and little brother that she's looked after for majority of his life. When a strange boy shows up at a bonfire party, Lila begins asking questions she doesn't know how to answer. The strange boy Kohen has many titles to his name - party crasher, jerk, accomplice - but is intent on proving one of his titles is the truth: werewolf. And amidst the battle of werewolves vs. vampires that Lila's seemingly entangled in, Kohen steals the one thing Lila never expected him to: her heart.
