12 volunteers sign up for a scientific research experiment called The End but when entered and put into their chambers they find out that the experiment has dire consequences and with no escape they are forced to go through with the procedure requiring them to survive multiple end of the world disasters or die in simulation and in real life.

Their test subjects are a group of teen prisoners who have offered freedom after the tests are complete, assuming they survive. The tests succeed and the teens are equipped with strange abilities that make them the most powerful humans on the planet. Things take a turn for the worst when a tragic accident leads to the deaths of most of the scientists. The teens are now mostly by themselves, stuck on an island, with dangers lurking at every corner. Just because they have powers doesn't mean that they're invincible.
