Lord Shaxx adressed the crowd of Guardians. He cleared his throat and everyone, even Cayde, fell silent. "We have repelled many Fallen attacks over the last couple of years. But this time we shall attack them!" There were a few murmurs and gasps as he said this. The murmurs turned to yelling and the gasps to quiet shock.
"My friends, please" Ikora pleaded, trying to calm the mob.
BANG!!!
A shot echoed through the Vanguard Hall, the crowd fell silent. Lord Saladin stepped forward "Let the horns of battle be winded, the torches kindled, the banners unfurled, for the Iron Lords and the City, march together"

Destiny: War Of Sol - Book Ten
This story is the last in a ten-book series based on the video game franchise, "Destiny," developed by Bungie. The universe of Destiny is a science-fictional setting taking place in the future, where Humanity has been reduced to a singular city on Earth, and must rely on the Guardians, Humans who wield a power known as the Light, to defend them from various alien threats within the Sol system. Together with her two older brothers Nathaniel and Jacob who followed their father's footsteps.They are very protective of Cassie, she never had a boyfriend although she's very beautiful. Men were afraid to approached her because of the three towering figures who always threatened them.This is the reason why Cassie wanted to get out from their overbearing clutches. "You're not brave, you've merely forgotten the fear of death...Allow me to reacquaint you." The words wouldn't leave her head... Ghaul's mocking tone, the way he looked down at her like she was nothing but an ant beneath his boot with his eyes narrowed and stance radiating a smug triumph that made the Young Wolf grit her teeth and clench her jaw even days after the fact. His words though wasn't what caused her anger, even if they did send a pang of, something through her body. She ignored that (like she always did) and focused on the matter at hand for now, (for her feelings didn't matter; they never would.) Ghaul had invaded her home, the home of her people and captured the Traveler right from under their noses. He slaughtered her people, killed all who hadn't evacuated and he not once cared for the amount of innocent lives he took. The blood of men, women and children who just wanted to live in peace... He had killed all who stood in his way, and The Guardian hadn't been able to stop him from doing so... She had failed...she was right there before him and had fallen down on her knees, too exhausted to get back up and fight without her Light. (She was Weak...a failure...a coward...) The Titan could still feel the phantom pain coursing through her body in the aftermath of the attack, when she had woken up barely alive without her powers back in the city but now, sitting around her small camp as she finally took a break after days of walking that did nothing but fuel her anger. She'd find a way to stop the Red Legion, find a way to kill Ghaul with or without the Light even if it was the last thing she did. -OR: The Red War begins; The Young Wolf is pissed, never before has she failed like this, failed to protect her people but the Guardian is willing to do whatever it takes to make things right, even at the expense of her own health.Complete

The guardians thought they'd gotten rid of Pitch Black, being swept into darkness by his own nightmares. Everyone was in high spirits and decided to throw a party to celebrate. No one bothered to check Pitch's lair to see what'd happened to him. If they had, they would see he'd only been severely weakened. Pitch Black was alone in his dark lair. His nightmares had abandoned him and were turned into daydreams by the Sandman himself. Pitch barely had enough energy to create a small nightmare before it would dissappear. Everyone thought he was gone for good, everyone ALWAYS thinks they've truly gotten rid of fear. So when Pitch felt a huge spike of fear and darkness, he followed it to the source. The source of fear was somewhere in a small town called Amity Park. Set after TUE. I only own the plot, wish I owned the characters.
