Adam thought it was scary enough starting high school. But starting in the second year in a completely new town with completely new people who already knew each other completely? That was even worse.
~~~
Adam's the 'New Kid' for what feels like the 3rd time this year, and that's because he is.
His mother keeps them moving from state to state, trying to shake off a past that has latched itself onto their family.
He thinks that maybe this'll be it, they'll settle down at last. He doesn't want to move again, not when it's almost October already.
But you can't run from the past, it'll always catch up to you, and Adam knows that for a fact.
Hello and welcome everyone to a brand-new short novel! I had found pieces of an unfinished story that I had written a long time ago and forgotten about, and I'm piecing them together to make this here story!
Warning, since the original was never finished, I've got no idea where this is going, so apologies if it's gets a lil' crazy or if uploads are infrequent.
Anyways, enjoy! :)
xx [mom]
