❝ Face your fears, my dear, or you will never feel them lift away from you. ❞

Ava Halliday is a lonely girl who longs for something more out of her life. When her mom finally finds a job in a different job, the two move there. Auchendale is a cozy, uneventful town that Ava would have hated if not for one key feature: the woods. While her mother is working, she will sneak out of the house to explore Kry Wood. One day she gets lost within its maze of trees, a barn owl is able to guide her out. Stardust becomes Ava's only friend, but some things have to be left behind when her mother finds love.
A story of letting things go, no matter how much you wish for them to stay.
