My name is Manakel, and I'm a normal teenage girl.
Well, as normal as a vampire with powers can get. I didn't ask for these powers. I didn't ask for this life. I especially didn't ask for a heartbroken, evil, fallen angel to chase after me.
I was born to a normal, suburban family that did everything they could to hide the fact that they're vampires. I'm a vampire that was given elemental powers. They're Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, and Spirit. Normal vampires only have one power, which shows up around the age of 8-10. Mine showed up when I was 5, and I could use all five of the elements. Little did I know, this wasn't a miracle or freak accident. I wasn't a regular vampire, and my family knew that all along. I did not.
At the age of 16, my life flips itself upside down, and there is nothing I could do to stop it. This is the story of how the fallen angel, Kalona, tricks me into falling in love with him.
