For the broken heart

I needed to tell you this but it's hard to press the send button. Sometimes it's hard being in love or falling out of love. My tragic mistakes become my inspiration. Going back isn't an option but sometimes it's all your mind can wander to. My poetry comes from my darkest moments but we all experience heartache. We all want to reach out but we can't so we grow up and move on. But it's those rare moments that we wonder. What if?
