I needed to tell you this but it's hard to press the send button. Sometimes it's hard being in love or falling out of love. My tragic mistakes become my inspiration. Going back isn't an option but sometimes it's all your mind can wander to. My poetry comes from my darkest moments but we all experience heartache. We all want to reach out but we can't so we grow up and move on. But it's those rare moments that we wonder. What if?

Wave (Book 2)
I had survived the first. That was then; this is now. The blindfold of so many pills slowly died away and first though my finger then my head, a passion, a hurt and a need filled me as every moment was consumed with words; every breath with wisps of ink. But they were not all captured and somewhere in the deep abyss of living, lies the unspoken, almost unfelt feelings of decades in months. This is the half-empty account off all those nights from December through into the new year and the end of March. ...I pains me to share it. But it also makes it just not my problem anymore and that is something I long for- freedom and peace. "you promised me forever but you lied. You're not the same person I grew up with, you changed." "You're right, I have but you have too. It's like I don't recognize the person standing in front of me." I looked around and noticed my family had been waiting in case things got physical. "I think me being here is a mistake. BROKEN HOPE (Lucas & Emilia Book 2)
I was so damn naive it's no wonder I've ended up here. Kidnapped by the man who promised me forever, just as I'd begun to understand the depths of his betrayal.
