Nisha Caldwell finds a stranger, an intruder in her house. The stranger, who calls himself Jack Frost, says that he's her betrothed and he's finally come to collect her. But how can she trust anything he says? He can't be anything more than a crazy stalker...
That is until he whisks her away to another world in a tornado of snow and ice.
Now, along with her grandmother, Nisha finds herself in a completely different world, one referred to as the Realm of Others, or the Other Realm for short. Here, she's the odd man out. This world is occupied by Others, beings that were brought into creation by the imaginations and beliefs of humanity. Which means, to her horror, the man who kidnapped her isn't a human. In fact, he isn't just a regular citizen of the Other Realm either.
Jack Frost is actually the Heir of Winter, the one who will take after his father, Lord of Winter when the man retires. The Lord of the Winter is the Other who brings Winter to the Human World each year, as well as keeping places like Russia, Alaska, and Antarctica cold at all times. Forget everything you ever thought about the way the world works.
Given little choice, Nisha must learn how to adjust to this new world, as well as praying she can find some way to return to her own world. Now the only question is, will she succeed? Especially when Jack is so attached to her, constantly reminding her that they are meant to be married. She's got two years until their wedding is suppose to take place.
