With writing a story you can create the emotion and genuine reaction of people in a situation so everyone can understand. I feel that if I can tell a story real enough, then others going through the same struggles would see what the true outcome looks like.
This compilation of stories includes pieces I wrote for creative writing classes, stories I started but didn't feel I could enlongate, poetry that's personal, and short pieces I wrote for fun.

Peeling Back the Top Layer 🇯🇲
At age 30, publications editor Kelsie Taylor is slowly losing hope in finding her fairytale romance. The stories of the women around her who experience abuse and heartbreak along with her own experiences have made her cautious about entering a relationship. Her dream of finding forever love as a young adult is yet to actualize because none of the suitors she encountered so far have made a striking first impression. "I know that with Jamaican men I might have to kiss a few frogs before I find a prince but right now mi feel like a only frog deh here. Most of dem nuh worth more than a hi," she says to a man she only had brief, casual interactions over the past few weeks. He chuckles at her disclosure. "Yuh mean yuh just nuh kiss di right frog yet. And why yuh feel like yuh need a prince or a knight? You are no damsel in distress. You don't need saving." She shrugs at his observation, not sure how to respond. "You just need to get out of your way. I can bet you have written off men with a lot of potential with just one glance. But people are multilayered. You have to peel back the surface to get a better look at what's underneath before writing off a person," he adds. A Collection of Short Stories and Poems
The title basically says it all. This will be a collection of really short stories and poems I have made recently in a creative writing class as warm-ups, so just sit back and enjoy a few chapters of random things based off of random prompts. This might be a crazy ride for the both of us. Caution: there will probably be many triggering chapters in this, so if you can't handle the mentioning/allusion to suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, cutting, blood, or self-depreciation of any kind, I would not recommend reading any of this. You have been warned, so if you end up complaining about the things in this collection, you will be ignored and removed from the comments. These are my stories, so deal with it. A Twist Of Fate
Her life was anything but ordinary. Broken by those meant to protect her, she grew up knowing pain more intimately than love. Abuse and betrayal fractured her world, leaving scars no one could see. No one but him. His life seemed perfect on the outside, a façade of wealth and family bliss. But no one knew what happened behind closed doors. He had secrets too dark to share, and wounds too deep to heal alone.

The Possessive Gang Leaders Princess
I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late. My music cut out causing me to hear a whistle. I stop in my tracks and pull my headphones down to my neck. Turning around, I seen a group of men with one guy who just smirked at me. "You new here beautiful?" one of the guys asked. "What do you think Einstein?" cocking my brow. "Ohh. Challenging? I like." he says walking towards me, about two inches away. "Really?" biting my lip, as he continued walking towards me. He reaches out and grabs my hip, "Mmhmm," smiling down at me. Swiftly, I grab his hand, turn him around, kick him right above the back of his knee, and pushes down so he's on his knees in front of me in a position of which I could brake his arm, "What a shame, 'cause personally, I don't like fuck boys with various STD'S." I look at all the men in the group who had their jaws dropped, all except for one, "Touch me one more time, and I'll brake your arm in two." I stand and kick his back so he falls on the concert. "Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." Then, I turn and leave. ~~~~ Truce Mane is a girl who recently moved to New York with her youngest niece and nephew along with her uncle Mike. Truce went through many things as a child. She still went through them. Her mother blamed her for everything. She would get into Street fights. As in, she would fight in a dark alley with whoever she could. Sounds bad, huh? Wrong. *** Dante Kings is the most feared gang leader across the world. While he does have his fuck and Chuck's, he's been looking for his princess. He vowed that when he found her, she'd be his and he would treat her like a queen. When the spit fire moves to town and believes he's finally found her. Has he?Terminé

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and Charity is a prime example of that. Two years ago Charity and her sister, Mercy were wronged. Hope seems far away after everything that they go through. Realizing the man who caused her sister to take her own life was still living just fine after everything made it even worse .
