"Ten years ago today was the worst day of my life. On the 17th of November 2007, I lost my best friend in a hit-and-run car accident. It's been a hard ten years, living from day to day with an awful childhood tragedy at the back of my mind, but the years still crawl by agonisingly slowly. I say that, but when I think about Alice and what happened to her it barely seems like yesterday. My therapist seems to think that documenting everything I think and feel in this diary will finally help me get over her death-and who knows? Maybe he's right.
