Fresh off the streets is a street kid named Mango. She has lived in Johannesburg, South Africa her whole life, but only discovered the cruelty of the streets five years prior, when her dear mother died. She meets a police officer who offers her all she can dream of, but she has to refuse - it's too much of an offer to accept. She's kindly forced to live with the policeman's son, Khaya, who she finds quite intriguing. She thought living on the streets was as bad as anything could get, until she realises how much it takes to get up after a million setbacks and unruly people. She realises living on the streets would be much better than the horror she is yet to face. **** Highest rankings: #1 - somethingnew: May 31, 2020. #1 - mango: September 25, 2020 & January 1, 2021 & March 2 - 31, 2021. #4 - auction: May 9, 2021.

The choices we make in life often come down to good or bad. Sometimes, though, we don't even get to make those choices ourselves. Looking back on every bad memory I can still recall, every pain I've endured that still feels etched into my flesh, I've come to learn one thing: faith. Faith taught me to survive-for my own sake and my own good. The one thing I feared most was losing my parents. Just the thought of it used to break my heart. I grew up living what many would call "the perfect life." At times, I thought I couldn't survive any life other than the one I had with my beloved parents. They were the two people I grew up loving deeply, without anyone else ever taking their place. Being the daughter of two well-known figures in our country was exciting and full of joy. But the idea that one day I might leave them behind-whether through marriage or other life changes-haunted me. It felt like losing a part of myself. Yet, looking back at everything I've been through, I realize that if those events hadn't happened, I wouldn't be the person I am today. This story is one of revenge, romance, love, hatred, and politics-a reflection of the struggles within our beloved country. Set in the fictional land of Wenturia, this tale will take you on an emotional journey. Check it out, and I promise you won't regret it!
