One second, one action, one hesitation, one drunk driver but it was two who were torn apart.

Melody is your typical good girl, good grades, good heart she's even good at sport. What she's not good at is remembering a life she had before.

"Melody! Why... why did you do that!" I took in a wispy breath, my heart clenched at his tall figure grasping my limp one. A pain erupted in my chest and I felt a warm sticky liquid trickling down my skin, but I thought that if this was my last moment maybe I shouldn't waste it crying.
"I told you. I'd take a bullet for you Cole James." His eyes filled with tears, Cole James crying, never thought I'd see it. And just like that everything went black. "No Melody! Please... Don't leave me..."
