Will Byers, the kid everyone referred to as "Zombie Boy" Jessica Spencer, has been friends with him since birth. Jessica's parents had passed away, and Karen took her in, Mike's mother. Joyce would have, but she couldn't have another child around the house. Jessica goes over to Wills everyday, while Mike goes to Elevens. Jessica is part of the party.
