Caroline finally leaves her abusive deadbeat fiancé, and a year later, she lives with her best friend- Landon, and works in a café... Sounds pretty good, right?
One night, Landon and Caroline come home to an unlocked door, and an eerily silent house. A burglary gone wrong ends up with Landon dead, and Caroline handicapped for possibly the rest of her life.
For the second time, Caroline is all alone. While going through intensive therapy, she tries- and fails, to remember the night Landon was killed. With the help of an unexpected ally, Caroline pieces together the night her life fell apart... And tries to build anew.
