"Because there's nothing you can do to stop what's coming." Willow swore he seemed to glow with power. "And by the end of the day, everyone you see around you will be dead."

"Oh cool! You have a talking tree on your team!" Peter shouts in amazement. "Why don't we have cool teammates like that?" He asks Tony as everyone else sort of looks on in slight awe and amusement.
"Well technically he doesn't really say much. Mainly just I and am and Groot." Quill pauses. "And he only says it in that order."
"Okay, I'm sorry but who the hell are you guys again?" Stephen demands.
"Didn't you hear us the first time? We're the Guardians of the Galaxy and we're here to kill Thanos."

She hated him with everything she had. He had betrayed her, and in doing so, she was stripped of her title, and banished to another realm. That is until the day he announced himself as Iron-man and joined the group of misfits that called themselves heroes. She had worked at the local hospital, as a doctor in the ER, but was often called upon to fix up the idiots who didn't know how to take care of themselves. On one of her shifts, she comes across HIM. That smug, egocentric asshole trying to prove that he knew best, arguing with her about a patient, when she had lost it, and punched him in the face. *** Stephen Strange was a man who prided himself on being the best, and here was this woman, who was telling him how to do his job. She was infuriating, stubborn and a huge pain in his ass. After a public disagreement, that resulted in her suspension, when she hit him, he had found out that she was none other than Tony Starks sister. Which makes it hard for Bucky Barnes because though the girl is his best friend, he's utterly in love with Carmen. The boy just convinces himself that Carmen's out of his league. But his struggles only growing seeing as Bucky becomes a sergeant for the one-o-seventh, while Carmen becomes a nurse for the one-o-seventh. The two rarely see each other but when they do it's filled with soft singing and dancing, broken hearts, and a jealous filled Bucky. But at the end of the day they find hope, in a train, as 'death' awaits one of them. But prior to all that, prior to when the problems truly begin, it starts with three teen best friends, Steven 'Steve' Rogers, James 'Bucky' Barnes, and Carmen Ripley, all living Brooklyn. Their friendship began with a football landing in swim loving teen, Carmen. And slowly their story moves to three adult best friends facing the problems of Earth. Problems none of them truly were expecting.
