Modern technology really changed the world. But was it for the better or for worse?

Many people have dreamed and thought about what the future for all humans would look like. A world where hover boards are seen as normal? A world where robots could pass for a human? Or perhaps a world filled with... destruction because of modern technology itself.

In this story, read and find out how all things modern was erased.

The reason being that as time went by, only more and more people went against the idea of all modern technology. They wanted to get rid of modern technology altogether, but most modern humans as we see today have built so many habits around those things. So, they turned to a more retro future for all people as a more possible solution. The world that would soon be later known as, Steampunk.

Meet Cadra Copperlux. A 15-year-old girl born in 2042 in a world where words of the modern times is taboo. Where steam is power. Where she dreams to become a famous engineer.

It was no doubt that her power in knowledge will take her far in that dream. But, something else might help as well.
