This story follows Gemma as she deals with the struggles of being in the It Crowd. Told through therapy sessions, it details the highs and lows of being in the spotlight and looking the part. The narrative follows her from an elementary birthday party to the seventh grade, eventually ending in high school where she finally learns what it will take to be a part of the clique. What did her so called friends do to earn their spot? What will Gemma do to claim hers? Will her actions end up being her downfall?

I let out a deep breath and lean closer, whispering near his ear. "Is it okay that I want you to touch me more?" Plus, he shivers in fear (literally) when he is within Sam's perimeters that makes him the best client in Sam's bullying business. However, not all things are what they always seem as Sam unravels something intriguing about Aaron and about himself. This book is a moving up requirement and as a part of our Production Thesis. I'm from the Arts department of a public junior high school in the Philippines and just publishing and launching this book brought me not only joy but also pride because this is my first ever novelette (or maybe novel considering it's length)!

She doesn't crave to be a popular girl, or to be eye candy for the boys, she just wants to be known as 'pretty' and liked. Her worst nightmare is to be known as the far girl, or the ugly one.
