Accession /əkˈsɛʃ(ə)n/ (noun) : the attainment or acquisition of a position of rank or power.

"Don't give me that look. Do you know how many people want to kill us?"

The year is 2047. Alyxia is the princess of the kingdom known as the Peninsula. She is the only daughter of King Stavros and Queen Adelaide, and is the first and only one in the line of succession.

A privileged young 17 year old, she takes her royal standing for granted. Her life is seemingly perfect, safe inside the walls of her palace with her powerful father, doting servants and riches that could last several lifetimes.

However, nothing lasts forever.

When faced by a grave threat to her life, Alyxia is forced to flee her home and now lives among her own people as a nameless, faceless and powerless
princess. With the help of her dedicated friends and her loyal subjects, she must find the strength to rise from the ashes and claim what rightfully belongs to her.

But as it turns out, that is easier said than done.
