In a Utopian society in what was once known as America, Nine and her friend Thirty just want to know what life is like outside of the compound they're confined to. The government has only painted a picture of life on the outside, but Nine and Thirty want to know more. What they don't know is figuring out what lies beyond the compound comes with dangers that could keep them imprisoned, for life.
