Jane's sister is on one of the highest rank teams for the season. And when Jane is invited to be the teams captain, she takes the job. But she hasn't only gotten the job, she's caught the attention of Asher Roshan, creator of The Games. He gives her a prototype of his new invention, the Link. But this new technology isn't the only way the two are connected. They're linked in ways that neither of them imagined.
