Life has been sustainable for as long as Alani can remember in their glass dome. Every year the eighteen year olds get to pick their occupations at the annual Choosing ceremony and this year Alani must choose her fate. The only problem is she is wedded to Tristen Walker, an Elite and son of the chancellor who she doesn't even love.

Alani believes her fate is sealed until something shows up at the dome, from the outside. As she discovers more and more about the city as well as something she didn't know about herself, she uncovers something about Rana that will either save them all or be the end of human kinds existence.All Rights Reserved
