A band of adventurers team up to possibly stem the tide of the Burning Legion after plans of an incoming invasion were unhinged from elite Legion commanders. Colton, a Worgen Warlock communes with a powerful unworldly amulet that will open a rift in reality on top of the Rise of the Defiler to hopefully find something strong enough to defeat Sargeras and his demonic crusade. However, the rift begins to destabilize and is out of control. The rift becomes so unstable it expands and explodes. Colton soon finds himself on another world unknown to him or any of his kind. What will he find on this extraordinary new planet? Did all of his friends survive the unstable rift? Will this planet be his final tomb? Will he fail?
